My Suggestion to Improve the Course 

In the year of 2018 after taking the SPM, I had graduated from my secondary school and continue with my studies in UCSI University. Since I am in love with physics, when studying in university,I took a diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering course with a duration of two years and four months. So now,there are some suggestions for me to share to improve the course.

First of all, I would like to say that, it is plausible for the university to improve the teaching and the learning practices. In the class ,it is a must to give more practical and topical exercises to the students so that they can clearly understand about the topic,but not having a blur mind to learn on it. Then,in my opinion, when having any discussion about the practical questions in the class,I could think that the lecturers should spend more time on giving  more explanation about the practical questions to students so that it become a cinch to the students to understand the reading print outs. In the class, the learning resources such as lecture note that display on the screen or playing a video to explain the topic should be encouraged to be done so that the class will be interesting enough, and it can also avoid the students to have a boring mind to learn!

Next,in my opinion, the suggestions for the university is to improve the quality of learning equipment and resources. In today's life since technology roles the world, the university should be upgrading and updating the facilities, technology and texts to meet current requirements. In the electrical laboratory, the responsibility of the university should take role to repair the  equipment that can't be function properly. If there is no improvement for the equipment, the students can't  complete the experiment well and it can't hand in work on time. For another example, the computer in the lab were slow and old. This will engender the students to the threshold of procrastination of work,and they will lost their mood on doing assignment, moreover to further their course.

UCSI University is good enough to provide the facilities and learning experience to every student. With these suggestions,hope the course will become better can bring the maximum benefit to the students.

The importance of Privacy, Security, Legal and Green Computing Awareness for Society

Modern life has become easier and the people of the world had to thanks to the immense contribution of the internet technology to communication and information sharing. There is no doubt that internet has made our life become easier and more convenient. But we usually say that everything has pros and cons. In today’s life, the world had giving attention to the problems of security, privacy, legal and green computing. Here I will share my ideas about the importance of these topics in this blog.

Privacy
Privacy is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively. The boundaries and content of what is considered private differ among cultures and individuals. As a quick definition, privacy is something is inherently special or sensitive to a person. Privacy is important because without it, surveillance information will be abused which has a meaning to peep, to sell to marketers and to spy on political enemies -- whoever they happen to be at the time. Privacy protects us from abuses by those in power, even if we're doing nothing wrong at the time of surveillance.

Security

Nowadays, many organizations face different kinds of security threats. Security refers to protection from hostile forces. Security is freedom from, or resilience against, potential harm or other unwanted coercive change caused by others and it is about protecting important data, confidential information, networks, software, equipment, facilities, company’s assets, and personnel. The main goal of security is to monitor and protect assets and act as a deterrent to violence. Though the information will not be misused, it is very hard to retrieve it and may cause permanent loss of data by two factors which is attack by natural disaster and the second is malicious party.

Legal
The meaning of legal is allowable or enforceable by being in conformity with the law of the land and the public policy. As a quick definition, legal also define as of or relating to law. Why is law so important in society? The law is important for a society for it serves as a norm of conduct for citizens. It was also made to provide for proper guidelines and order upon the behaviour for all citizens. Besides that, the law is important because it acts as a guideline as to what is accepted in society. Without it there would be conflicts between social groups and communities. It is pivotal that we follow them. The law allows for easy adoption to changes that occur in the society. 

Green Computing 

Green computing is the environmentally responsible and eco-friendly use of computers and their resources. Since human started realised that they need to do something to protect the environment because they had polluted the environment with computer waste which contain a lot of toxic material which can easily leach to the ground water and pollute it, as an example heavy metals. Therefore, green computing is important to keep the environment safe and clean and it can help to reduce the pollution of the environment. Green computing can also conserve the resources which means less energy is required to produce, use, and dispose of products.

Evolution of Internet and Web Authorization 

In this era technology and modernization, Internet had provided us a facility of searching information from the corner around the world.To lay bare, Internet is an invention of modern and high technology science. By using internet, we can connect to each other easily although we does not meet each other mano a mano. So now, it is time for me to share the information about the evolution of Internet.

From the beginning, The origins of the Internet date back nearly 40 years, with the U.S. military's funding of a research network dubbed Arpanet in 1969. Since then, the Internet has undergone more than just a name change. In today’s life, the number of computers connected to the Internet has grown exponentially, while the number of  Internet users has risen to 1.5 billion consumers, whereby the network's reach had expanded beyond the United States to every corner of the globes, but since its popularity has a dark side, it evolved from a friendly research network to a hotbed of criminal activity including fraud and identity theft.

Actually, the world's largest network of computer networks got its original name from the U.S. military arm that funded it: Arpanet was for the Advanced Research Projects Agency.  In 1983, the U.S. Defense Department spun-off MILNET*, which was the part of Arpanet that carried unclassified military communications. Arpanet, it was renamed the Internet in 1984, which linked 1,000 hosts at university and corporate labs. According to the Internet's geographic research, when in the year of 1990, Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web as a method of publishing information in a hypertext format on the Internet. Until today, it is the grateful thing that we can still use the web side with World Wide Web, thanks for him!

Nowadays, the direct link for the people is more than 440 million, and there are even more Internet access that can go through with the private addressing schemes. According to the research again, the Internet usage had strongly exploded since the year of 1995. Although the estimation of people vary from the Internet, and yet there is a statement agreed that “Net has the room for growth as the worldwide population had become the tops 6 billions.

Back in 1988, the Morris Worm, was the first major attack on the Internet , disabling 10% of the Internet's 60,000 host computers. Today, hundreds of more sinister attacks are aimed at Internet users each day. Indeed, the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) stopped counting the number of security incident reports it received in 2004 because attacks against Internet-connected systems had become so commonplace that it felt this figure was getting too big to track.

There is a question, what is the difference is that the Internet will become increasingly mobile and social.? By 2012, there were more people will access the Internet via cell phones than PCs. Their favorite activities will be downloading music, videos and ringtones rather than searching the Web or sending e-mail.

Next, in my opinion, the web authorization in most standard implementations that included those featured by ASP.NET, the authorization phase kicks in right after the authentication, it’s mostly based on permissions or roles: any authenticated user might have their own set of permissions and/or belong to one or more roles, and thus be granted access to a specific set of resources. These role-based checks are usually set by the developer in a declarative fashion within the application source code or the configuration files.

We should never be confused with Authorization and Authentication , as it is a very different process and  in charge of a very different task to give a quick definition, we could say that the purpose of authorization is to confirm that the requesting user is allowed to have access to the action they want to perform. In other words, while authentication is about who he is, authorization is about what he’s allowed to do.

Taking all the pros and cons into the account, we could say that relying on third-party providers might be a great time-saving choice for small-scale apps. However, building our own account management system seems to be the only way to overcome the aforementioned governance and control-based flaws undeniably brought by that approach. As always, it’s mostly a matter of what we actually need or what we actually want to achieve our product owners.

Things That I Like In Malaysia 

Malaysia is a multiracial and multicultural country which is a unique country because of its diversity of races, religions and cultures.I was born in Malaysia. I grew up by eating Malaysia’s food. I live in Malaysia. I love to being one of the Malaysian because it is good enough to compare with other countries.

There are a lot of things that I like in Malaysia. First and foremost, there are a lot of different celebrations in Malaysia because there are more than one races in this country such as Malays, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan and so on. It is very fun and happy when there is an open house concept to celebrate these festivals such as Aidilfitri Celebration, Happy Chinese New Year, Deepavali Celebration, Christmas Celebration and many more. By these festival celebrations, it can also make the relationship between me and my friends become closer.

Besides that, food is also a reason why I love Malaysia so much. Malaysia is a country that famous with many type of delicious food. For Malays, there are traditional foods like Ketupat, Lemang, Ayam Rendang and Nasi Lemak. For Chinese foods, there are Dimsum, Kung Pao chicken, Char kuey Tiao and Ma Po Tofu. For Indians foods, there are Tandoori Chicken, Putu Mayam and Roti Canai which is a very common and delicious food that can find in ‘Mamak’ stalls. As a Malaysian, I always proud with my country’s food because it is very delicious, tasty and constantly available.

Next, I like Malaysia because it has many attractive travel destination. Malaysia is famous with the high hills station, Cameron Highland, Genting Highland, Penang Hill and Fraser Hill. These high hills station attract many travelers come to visit. Cameron Highland is a high hill station with a lot of farm, such as butterfly farm and strawberry farm. Genting Highland well- known as ‘Las Vegas of Malaysia ’ which is the only legal casino in Malaysia. Most of the travelers visit Penang Hill to enjoy the cool, unpolluted air and the view from the top of the hill. Malaysia is also a  country consists of many historical place such as Kota A’ Famosa where located at Malacca. This place has a lot of historical things such as stockade for war that built by colonialists from Portugal. Many travelers who love history like to visit there.

Malaysia is a country of varied cultures and traditions. Here, I met many people from different cultures and we share our faith and trust. These are things and reasons why I like you so much, Malaysia.
